Job Summary

An exciting new opportunity to join our Service Delivery team in New York and drive the strategic initiatives in NAMER East Region.

Overall responsibilities

Achieve Service Levels for the NAMER East Region Provide management direction and leadership to team leads and subordinates Partner with peer Regional Managers to develop creative and innovative solutions to service delivery issues and problems Apply ITIL concepts to service level management duties Institute continuous improvement initiatives Embrace best/better practices to improve services Interact with client managers and executives As a result of providing a superior client experience, drive increases to revenue Perform cost management duties to improve costs/margins over time Resource performance management Meeting management

Resource Management

Ensure the best candidates are selected and retained Ensure team members improve their technical and soft skills Coach and mentor subordinates, encouraging subordinates to advance their career within Astreya Partners

Recruiting (In conjunction with recruiting)

Select the best possible candidates through effective interviewing techniques Oversee/manage Onboarding

Performance Management

Conduct performance reviews Evaluate and document job performance Mentor subordinates Conduct employee performance objectives/improvement plans Identify and correct poor performance Counsel for substandard performance Instigate the process for terminating employment in cases of non compliance Promote corporate incentive plans Coordinate efforts with HR regarding Employee’s Promotions/compensation increases or changes to benefits

Order Management

Manage/oversee regional ordering team Address order management/item escalations in a timely manner

Training

Oversee or conduct onboarding/orientation of new employees Manage or oversee the training program Ensure timely compliance for required training of subordinates Evaluate the skills levels of subordinates and recommend courses or development focus areas Communicate development needs to the Training Team

Scope of work compliance

Ensure the team’s completed work falls within the scope and responsibilities Assure that all team members have the required education and training to effectively perform their duties

Travel

Visit each site, at least twice per year to perform site audit Document site and track progress Follow up on past visits  

Communication Management

Provide leadership to the team related to the customer’s needs, requirements, processes, procedural standards, policies, culture, environment, etc. Ensure communications within to and from the team are effective

 

Other duties

Meeting management Compliance with key initiatives Timely approval of PTO requests, timecards and expenses Ensure HR practices and policies are followed by subordinates Development and prioritization of objectives and key results
