TITLE: NAMER Territory Manager I
LOCATION: Alberta Virtual, CANADA
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
The Territory Manager is an enthusiastic leader who is excited to provide management and coaching support to employees in order to meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This person will be a star at communicating with customers (by driving strong relationships, tackling problems head on, and ensuring your clients are always taken care of), and have experience developing employees, promoting teamwork, and fostering open and effective communications.

In this role, we’re asking you to effectively manage district activities to ensure delivery of on-site support services, while also effectively controlling expenses and assets. Why? Key Areas of Responsibility:
Directly supervise anywhere from 5-15 employees, responding to customer opportunities, issues, and complaints in a timely manner.
Develop fantastic relationships with internal customers, working to advise them about service and service delivery, including maintenance agreements and SLAs.
Perform root-cause analysis and preventive measures for repeat escalation situations. Because you are amazing at what you do, you’ll also help solve escalations due to resource problems (such as disciplinary and soft-skills issues).
Monitor, in some cases, performance improvement issues and provide appropriate coaching and counseling to team members.
Conduct individual and team meetings on a regular basis.
Record keeping including but not limited to tracking expenses and finance (such as overtime and other employee-related costs), and others involving physical assets (like tools, test equipment, vehicles, and service parts).
Working with others and able to establish on-going, open communications with employees and customers in different times zones and cultures.
Travel as required (up to 30%) and work in an environment that may require working non-traditional hours at times.
Remarkable at the performance management process, like setting objectives, executing quarterly/annual performance reviews, and managing vacation and training schedules.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (though a Bachelor’s degree is preferred).
Prior supervisory experience. A great manager and people-person who promotes effective communications, positive employee relations, and awesome teamwork.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including strong proficiency in Word, Excel (Pivot Tables and V-Lookups), and PowerPoint.
Desire to learn and explore new data sources, tools, and techniques.
Ability to approach complex problems with a logical and analytical mindset.
Flexible schedule as required. This role involves extended hours and may include occasional evenings and weekends to meet business needs and customer support requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
The willingness and ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including credit check, criminal, driving record, and drug screen.
This position requires that you be able to lift and carry tools and parts weighing up to 50 lbs. and be open to prolonged travel as needed.
The ideal candidate will also have experience as a group, team or project leader; other supervisory/leadership capacity in technical services or support is preferred.
Local residence and living within your assigned service area, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in Canada.
Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Power BI or willingness to learn Power BI.
Meticulous approach to data analysis and visualization
