Live in Nanny Job, Fulham, April 2025 start


A lovely new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Nanny to care for their first child who will turn 1 year old in April 2025. This is a sole charge role as Mum and Dad will be working long hours.

Mum and Dad are looking for a happy, warm, kind and enthusiastic Nanny who genuinely loves children and is easy to get along with. They seek someone who will provide a structured, nurturing and stimulating environment fostering their daughter's development. This is a relaxed and informal household – the family is looking for someone long-term who will grow strong bonds with their daughter and will be with them as the family grows.

You must be proactive, independent in managing daily routines, with a muck in attitude. Professional, acting with integrity and discretion.

Previous experience with similar-aged children is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.

Duties:

All nursery duties, including feeding, nappy changes, potty training, and maintaining routines Providing engaging activities: organizing playdates, attending baby classes, outdoor play, and social events Encouraging early development through fun, educational games, reading, and sensory play Drop-off and pick-up from nursery (starting Sept '25 or Apr '26) Supporting developmental milestones and fostering a love for learning Occasional bedtime and bathtime routines Occasionally, overnight care when required, such as when parents travel for work or work late Baby laundry Keeping baby nursery tidy and organised  Preparing nutritious meals for the baby and for the family General tidying up and baby-related housekeeping duties 

Ideal Candidate:

- Experienced with babies from this age upwards, confident in their care

- A strong understanding of child development and key milestones

- A proactive, 'muck-in' attitude, with professionalism, integrity, and discretion

- Comfortable living in and integrating into a family home

- Familiarity with the Montessori approach (desirable but not essential)

- Ability to travel with the family on occasion (desirable but not essential)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced nanny to become part of a warm and welcoming family.

Additional Details:
