Nanny-share Job, Maida Vale, August start

A new client is looking for a Nanny to care for two children: a girl aged 2 years and a baby who will be a couple of weeks old when the role starts. The girl will be going to nursery a few hours per week and Mum and Dad are hoping that she will be a big sister in the near future.

The role will be shared between two households in the same area – the children are cousins. It is likely that half the week will be spent at the toddler’s house, and the other half at the baby’s house. This is a shared care role as the baby’s Mum will be around.

The family is looking for someone punctual, reliable, and very confident with newborns. A childcare qualification and proven experience with newborns are both essential.

Previous experience with similar-aged children is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.

Duties:

All nursery duties Feeding and nap routines Helping Mum with breast feeding Weaning and potty training - all milestones Cooking for the child (later children) Nursery runs for the eldest Age-appropriate activities

Salary: negotiable for the right candidate
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: flexible on the Nanny’s requirements (35h to 50h)
Driving: not required
Travelling: bonus
Language: English essential
Qualification: level 3 minimum
