National Account Director - Processor (Distribution)
**Description** As the Director of National Accounts for Bunzl's Processor segment, you will have both Business Development and people leadership responsibly. In addition to leading a team of 5-10 National Account Managers, you will also be responsible for seeking out, developing and forming working relationships with major clients that are the premier companies in our industry. In this Director role, you will collaborate with Corporate Vice Presidents in the oversight of National Account Strategy and the direct management of a team of senior Sales professionals to executing client specific onboarding and plans to meet company objectives for profitable growth and customer satisfaction with our organization. This role spans the whole US geography, so it can sit any major US city with convenient airport access. Division market hub locations are preferable. **_Responsibilities:_** + Executive contact with large, strategic clients; effectively manages positive relationships + Support, train, coach, and motivate a team of 5-10 sales professionals + Drive profitable sales opportunities with large, strategic clients + Proactively assesses client satisfaction and presents ideas for improving and/or expanding client services + Balance customer’s satisfaction with key performance indicators + Manages customer focused activities through a national sales team who are dedicated to the Large, Strategic Clients + Monitor profitability of Clients and presents ideas for improving account profitability + Support company supply partners, support strategic initiatives, including Bunzl own brand offerings + Manage Client inventories in support of company strategic goals + Maintain account profitability through creative margin and operating cost solutions + Liaison between the Client and internal departments (purchasing, customer services, traffic, warehousing) for communication of all relevant account information and problem resolution + Support strategic launches of new products or services into the market + Handle customer projects – research, reporting, data analysis + Participate in a collaborative team of peers to develop future direction of Bunzl’s sales + Qualified individuals must have the ability to lead an established customer support team + Vision to grow the team + Personality to develop a relationship with customer’s top level executive team **_Requirements:_** + Bachelor's degree preferred + 7+ years of selling or account management experience including demonstrated success managing client relationships and increasing business, ideally within grocery and/or food processor accounts. + Previous people leadership experience or demonstrated strong peer leadership + Previous packaging, distribution, sales/account management, or retail management experience a plus + Knowledge of distribution, packaging and/or IS systems + Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Personal characteristics required include strong personal drive, organization, priority **So, what are you waiting for?
