We have a great opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our Consumer Sales team to lead sales across all our portfolios (Baby & Child Care, Family Care, and Adult & Period Care) for Big W. You will closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective joint business planning and analysis, owning the KCA P&L for Big W.

You will be responsible for designing and executing plans which align to category/brand strategies to exceed net sales targets within a set trade spend budget. Further, you will lead the range and merchandising review processes and will be a passionate advocate for your accounts across the KCA organisation.

Further Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Development, analysis, implementation and management of the customer and promotional plans that best achieve volume and NSV budgets by product.

Provide forecasting and utilisation of account replenishing contacts, to assist the Demand Planning Team in stock management as well as input into the development and implementation of long-term strategies to meet future customer requirements, including EDLP, shopper focused range and Value-add initiatives.

You will achieve DPSM within Big W of KCA products, using Category Management principles, Business & Category reviews, Field Cycle Programs, Space Management and other applicable resources.

Contribute to the review and negotiation of Big W Trading Terms by providing thorough analysis of Trade Investment, Profitability, Return on Investment, Sales Performance, Supply Chain & Receivables.

About You:

You are someone that has experience in a similar NAM position, bringing solid Sales experience across FMCG and have worked across sizeable Grocery channels

You have great financial, budgeting and forecasting skills together with an appreciation and understanding of category management principles. Your proficiency with systems such as IRI Aztec, Promax and SAP will be highly appreciated.

Demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders cross functionally, and are able to articulate and identify business priorities, drivers, risks and opportunities

You are customer focused; as we put the customer at the heart in everything that we, you will need to have sound customer liaison skills, coupled with influencing and negotiation skills

You are a team player, and you bring froward your great communication as well as stakeholder management skills and apply your commercial and systematic acumen towards achieving the results. Together with your skills and experience, you hold Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar discipline
