National Account Manager, Dollar General (Coffee Sales)

Your Opportunity as National Account Manager, Dollar General (Coffee Sales)

You will be the Sales lead for a strategic business unit with goal to drive profitable sales growth for both JM Smucker & Dollar General.

Location: Nashville, TN

Work Arrangements: Remote position living within the geography indicated above (Nashville, Tennessee)

In this role you will:

Business Management

Build and maintain relationships within Dollar GeneralBuild & maintain relationship with all internal constituentsDevelop strategies to drive brand/category growth and achieve or exceed sales/profit goalsOwn & lead negotiation for joint business planning, new items, key initiatives, etc.Influence key stakeholders to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results that are beneficial for both companiesSupport and partner with Supply Chain team to drive solutions across Dollar GeneralGrow partnership between customer and internal cross-functional teams to drive innovation and business opportunitiesManage execution of everyday business, including Dollar General forms, item setup/ maintenance, online content, logistics and inventory management, etc.Work with sales support team to implement retail priorities and monitor retail standards

Business Planning & Analysis

Own annual business planPerform in-depth analysis of sales and profit components, including merchandising, promotional and supply chain opportunitiesWork with syndicated and other data sources to manage and inform strategic and tactical plansManage internal sales system (promotions, deductions, forecast, etc)Effectively manage trade budget and distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing objectivesForecast monthly and quarterly sales and communicate internally for production planningAd-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post event analysisDrive business process improvements by working closely with cross-functional business partners and team

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree5+ years of CPG sales experience with direct national account HQ management experienceProven leader in negotiation successStrong technical skills using Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral & written communication skills (negotiation, selling, presentations, etc)Ability to relocate in the future for other growth opportunities with the CompanyAbility to travel up to 20% of work schedule

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

Joint Business Planning experience Previous experience calling on Dollar GeneralProficient in use of syndicated data sources (Circana, 1010 Data)
