National Account Manager, Family Dollar/Dollar Tree (Pet and Sweet Baked Snacks Sales Team)

Your Opportunity as National Account Manager, Family Dollar/Dollar Tree (Pet and Sweet Baked Snacks Sales Team)

You will be the Sales lead for a strategic business unit with goal to drive profitable sales growth for both JM Smucker (JMS) and the Family Dollar/Dollar Tree accounts.

Location: Reside within 200 miles of Norfolk, Virginia

Work Arrangements: Working from Home Office

In this role you will:

Business Management

Build and maintain collaborative relationships within customers and internal constituentsDevelop strategies to drive brand/category growth and achieve or exceed sales/profit goalsOwn & lead negotiation for joint business planning, new items, key initiatives, etc.Influence key stakeholders to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results that are beneficial for both companiesSupport and partner with Supply Chain team to drive solutions with Family Dollar/Dollar TreeGrow partnership between customer and internal cross-functional teams to drive innovation and business opportunities.Manage execution of everyday business, including internal systems, customer forms and contracts

Business Planning & Analysis

Own annual business plans & Joint Business PlansPerform in-depth analysis of sales and profit components, including merchandising, promotional and supply chain opportunitiesWork with 1010 and syndicated data sources to manage and inform strategic and tactical plansManage internal sales system (promotions, deductions, forecast, etc)Effectively manage trade budget and distribution, shelving, merchandising and pricing objectivesForecast monthly and quarterly sales and communicate internally for production planningAd-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post event analysisDrive business process improvements by working closely with cross-functional business partners and team

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree5+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods sales experience with direct national account HQ management experiencePrevious experience calling on Dollar Class of TradeProven leader in negotiation successStrong technical skills using Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral & written communication skills (negotiation, selling, presentations, etc)Ability to relocate in the future for other growth opportunities with the CompanyAbility to travel up to 20% of work schedule

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

Previous Dollar and/or Dollar Tree experienceJoint Business Planning and pro forma experience Proficient in use of syndicated data sources (IRI/Nielsen) and customer data sources (MIQ, POL,etc.)Working understanding of wholesale distribution model and services
