National Account Manager - E-commerce

A Kforce client, one of the world's leading consumer package goods companies is seeking a National Account Manager in Jersey City, NJ. The role can be hybrid or mainly remote - 2 days a quarter in office for meetings. This role will focus on e-commerce accounts (i.e., Amazon, Target etc.). There will be about 10 -20% travel to various clients and trade shows nationwide.
Summary:
The National Account Manager will lead the account management responsibilities with various National ecommerce customers. In this position the National Account Manager will be the key point of contact, on behalf of the company. You will be responsible for growing sales and distribution, annual account planning, business reviews, sales tracking and analysis, trade budget management as well as create a strong relationship with all assigned accounts.
Responsibilities:
* Maximize volume and revenue in assigned accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods
* Develop, implement, and execute account specific growth strategies aimed at meeting corporate objectives and driving profitability
* Manage account financials and budgetary responsibilities
* Monitor channel trends, conducting data analysis, to identify gaps and key opportunities
* Develop and engage in business reviews, sales, and trade growth activities
* Execute general account management activities such as customer contract negotiations and agreements, new item entry, promotional programs and assortment recommendations
* Track effectiveness of channel marketing events and recommend strategic actions
* Prepare and present sales results to upper management
* Maintain and strengthen existing relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities to solicit growth
The role comes with the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses if meet sales goals of up to 30% of base salary plus a monthly car allowance and benefits.
