Job DescriptionWe are currently looking to appoint a National Account Manager - Government to add crucial value to our experienced and high preforming team at Minor Hotels on a 12 month contract.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing and growing Minor Hotels government accounts throughout Australia and New Zealand, with a strategic focus on key regions such as Sydney, Canberra and Victoria.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Strengthen engagement with existing government partners for properties within Australia & New ZealandActively seek out new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production for government accounts across Minor Hotels properties within Australia & New ZealandAcquire, develop and maintain contact with government clients to maximise all business opportunitiesImplementing strategies to drive occupancy and maximise revenue across Minor Hotels properties within Australia and New ZealandMaintain awareness of market rates for serviced apartments, specifically local competitor ratesAttend local and international trade events to increase brand awareness of Minor HotelsEnsure all key stakeholders are kept informed of key sales developmentsAssist with the development of advertising collateral, working directly with the Marketing DepartmentWork closely with Hotel Managers & Revenue Managers regarding occupancy requirements, actioning agreed itemsIn conjunction with the Director of Field Sales, develop the annual sales plan, taking into consideration business trends, market conditions and tourism forecasts.QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:
