National Account Manager - Impulse (Ireland)

Role Purpose:

To deliver profitable growth and excellent execution within the impulse channels and customer accounts. Developing and nurturing key contacts across the channel, wining new customers & distribution points as well as working with cross-functional teams to help create and deliver the company and channel strategy

 

Key Activities:

Net Sales, investment and customer profitability responsibility including all Danone categories Delivering the annual, quarterly and monthly customer targets, driving profitable growth for both Danone and our CustomersDelivery of profitable growth for both Danone and customer through yearlyJoint Business Plans Retail ExecutionEnsuring flawless execution of agreed activations throughout the yearCreating and managing relationships to bring the Joint Business Plans to life in storesRegular store visits to know what is happening on the groundLiaising with distributors to provide briefs for tactical activationsManaging the promotional and pricing plans, ensuring these are aligned internallyReview return on investment internally and externally, tweaking the plans where relevantLead the building and execution of our customer specific plans Delivery of internal and external P&L targets  Working alongside Category to identify and deliver against distribution gapsWorking closely with supply chain to foresee any challenges and ensure clear consistent communication is delivered externally to maximise business continuityTo support junior members of the team through delivery management by setting the plans for activities and desired outcomes, engages the team on the ‘why’ of each project and coaching on the day-to-day challenges 

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

Good relationship building skillsAble to work autonomously to find solutions to challengesAble to build their network and can engage others through clear communicationAbility to deliver a demand led Joint Business PlanAbility to use questioning and listening to gain true customer needsGood commercial acumen with clear examples of strong P&L managementAble to demonstrate experience of well-prepared negotiations including ‘must gets’ ‘wish list’ and ‘concessions’

Salary Bracket: €50k - €60k plus car allowance
