National Account Manager – Kryptonite Bicycle Locks
The National Account Manager is responsible for driving the revenue and market share growth of the Kryptonite, AXA, Trelock products portfolio in the multi-store retail and e-Commerce channels within the Bicycle & Powersports categories. This includes discovery, screening and closing new accounts, and interacting with, influencing, and building relationships with online & multi-store retailers including buyers, sales managers, purchasing managers, merchandising, and marketing teams. They will execute all aspects of the sales process while collaborating with the various Kryptonite, AXA, Trelock sales, marketing, and product teams to leverage our expansive capabilities across all businesses to drive incremental revenue and share.
What You Will Do:
Execute & monitor the strategic and tactical business plans and initiatives (i.e. promotions, new product introductions, category management, etc) for the e-Commerce and multi-store retailers. Provide input, feedback, and opinions to Commercial Director to influence and help build out annual plans.
Consistently call on, meet, and collaborate with influential decision makers at each retailer to include multiple levels of purchasing, marketing, operations, procurement, finance and sales in order to achieve business targets.
Leads the strategic planning, execution and delivery of all customer line reviews.
Drive customer loyalty and growth through creation & strategic use of sales programs and promotions suitable for each retailer.
Resolve issues with accounts, including shipping errors, pricing errors, back-orders, defective products, advertising claims, promotions, overstocks, and other CRM requirements.
Maintain personal networks, join organizations, and attend industry shows and events to promote the Kryptonite, AXA, Trelock portfolio.
Collect and analyze POS and revenue data to ensure appropriate forecasting and inventory management. In addition, use this data to make fact-based recommendations and decisions regarding product mix, applications, and suggest possible new products and adaptations for products to improve performance of the Kryptonite portfolio.
Collect and utilize key metrics to report & communicate customer performance against target. Provides accurate and timely sales reports and competitive information to the Commercial Director.
Participates in the forecasting process by collaborating with Business Analyst. Provides insight to customer performance against forecast, advising of special promotions, new sales opportunities and identifying risks to forecast at the customer level.
Assist the marketing team to ensure all content on e-Commerce sites is correct and in alignment with the Kryptonite, AXA, Trelock brands guidelines.
Work closely with the Business Analyst to ensure enforcement of the Authorized Reseller policy and Online Sales Policies.
Provide Kryptonite, AXA, Trelock brands, marketing, product and customer experience teams with market intelligence, product and solution input, competitive insight, and other pertinent feedback to improve and drive business.
Build internal relationships with marketing, sales, brand, and customer experience teams to successfully commercialize products and gain share in the market.
What You Need to Succeed:
3 - 5+ years sales experience; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Experience with multi-store retailers or e-Commerce required
Bicycle industry or specialty retail market knowledge is preferred
Customer centric with the ability to balance both customer benefits and business financials effectively
Strong sales analytic skills preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
Ability to problem solve with entrepreneurial commitment to achieving goals
Strong strategic development & management skills with the ability to execute on business plans
Proven collaborator with both customer and internal cross functional teams
This position will require between 50% - 75% travel
Preference given to candidates living in Boston, MA; candidates must live within EST time zone to work with international business.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Base Salary Range: $57,600 – $86,700. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
