The National Accounts Manager provides continual excellence in customer service, project planning, and project delivery. Working with Customers, developing new market opportunities and value engineering projects.   

 

Principal Responsibilities  

To maintain and increase the profitable sale of products by:   

Actively promoting products, services, and image    Managing the customer base    Developing long term relationships with key contacts with the Customers    Effectively managing long term contracts with major key accounts   

To work within the established procedures by:   

Producing required reports    Operating a dynamic personal sales plan    Completing call forecast / visit made documents    Maintaining account records accurately and timely   

To obtain information relevant to the strategy of the business by:   

Reporting competitor activity    Understanding competitor products    Monitoring the sales and marketing activities of competitor   

To liaise with business unit personnel   

Report back and discuss relative opportunities, including special products and projects    Jointly develop actions plans to secure future business    Jointly develop actions plans to follow appropriate projects    Develop internal relationships within other relevant all areas of GPI    Proven track records of increasing sales year on year.   

 

Desired Qualifications

Proven track record of delivering against challenging sales targets and developing customer relationships within Blue Chip organizations     Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.    Able to communicate with confidence and knowledge on GPI products, machinery and service.    Excellent attention to detail and disciplined project management skills.     Exceptional customer communication and presentation skills.     Strong commercial focus.    Positive attitude    Team player involving both internal and external stakeholders in all elements of the customer relationships    Business qualification, Degree or HND or equivalent     At least 3 years of experience in account management working with Blue Chip organizations    Previous experience in packaging or similar manufacturing environment    Technical experience with manufacturing equipment is desirable   

 

Pay Range:   $109,875.00 - $146,500.00
