What is the role about?
The National Business Development Manager – CAPEX/Project Services position is crucial in leading the national strategy for large-scale projects, including Main Instrument Vendor (MIV) initiatives, project services, and other capital expense projects, ensuring a steady pipeline of significant opportunities and year-over-year growth. The individual oversees all lighthouse project activities, supported by the Endress+Hauser USA Executive Team, and serves as the primary US liaison with Endress+Hauser Group’s global teams in Europe. Additionally, they manage international credit split situations and act as an ambassador to ensure compliance with regional project pursuit managers.
Which tasks will you perform?
Lead the national strategy for large scale projects including Main Instrument Vendor (MIV), project services and capital expenditures (CAPEX) projects, ensuring a consistent pipeline of significant opportunities and year-over-year growth.
Identify and prioritize high-value projects to maximize win potential, using market insights and strategic planning, bringing visibility and transparency to the projects and all related activity in Salesforce.
Develop and implement strategies for executive engagement in key lighthouse projects, aligning with business objectives.
Collaborate with the Business Development team to secure large project opportunities across strategic sectors, including hydrogen, carbon capture, LNG, semiconductors, and biogas.
Partner with Sales Management to lead and manage projects in Salesforce, focusing on data quality and global process optimization in accordance with Standard 201 (Endress+Hauser Project Process).
Oversee the allocation of compensation for project wins, ensuring equitable distribution among internal stakeholders according to Standard 207 (Handling and Cooperation in International Projects).
Work with the Strategic Business team to expand the project footprint within top-tier accounts, identifying new growth opportunities for project services, MIV and CAPEX.
Guide ongoing learning and investment in CloudApps functioning as an advocate for “technology as a teammate” and an aid to decision-making.
Evolve and expand the MIV Partner Program by annually recruiting and onboarding new Original Equipment Manufacturers, plant builders, and Tier 2/3 Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop a national strategy, including value propositions, sales collateral, and consistent communication to all stakeholders and the market.

Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field
Travel required: up to 30%

Strong understanding of capital projects, including EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and process licensor customers.
