With a huge focus on sustainability this company is focusing on carbon reductions, not offsets, as it works toward achieving its verified science-based targets by 2030 and its goal to become a carbon negative enterprise by 2040.
The National Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business and expanding market presence specifically in the Health & Seniors Living segment. Key duties include developing external relationships with senior stakeholders, creating and implementing national sales strategies, and supporting the frontline sales team in interactions with architects, project managers, and contractors. The role also involves crafting annual strategic plans, managing sales pipelines, achieving sales targets, and providing regular performance updates. Additionally, this role advocates for industry and government initiatives through memberships and alliances.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for overseeing the Health & S/L Segment revenue and is a supporting and guiding role to the frontline sales team. Ultimately sharing responsibility for the overall Company Health & S/L revenue target. Lead sales and business development for the Health & S/L segment (70% of the time). Achieve sales revenue and margin targets. Engage internal stakeholders and regularly report on performance. Build strong relationships with end-users, decision-makers, and industry bodies. Capture all interactions, agreements and maintain development pipeline in the CRM – Salesforce. Represent at industry and market related events. Manage strategic planning, identifying new opportunities, and driving sustainability initiatives (30% of the time). Develop Value Proposition and support global and local ESG initiatives, aligned with Industry regulations and changes. Collaborate with marketing to provide valuable insights and direction to the business to support our growth priorities, commercial segmentation plan, supportive marketing assets and New Product Development.Experience and Qualifications: 5 Years sales / account management experience (Experience working with A&D in Commercial Sales, Building Industry or Health & S/L / Commercial Real Estate / Asset Management is a must) Business Development and Strategic Planning Public Speaking and presenting Knowledge of the property market / construction Industry Excellent communication & negotiation skills Commercial Acumen Knowledge of Market Insights, Project Management and Marketing concepts Proficiency in all current Microsoft products – Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint Salesforce.com / or similar CRM Customer and relationship focused Promote a culture of teamwork and safetyBenefits & Culture: Access to Employee Assistance program Salary Packaging options Fitness subsidy, gym membership discount, health insurance discount, discounted home loan offer, yearly flu shots and more You will be part of a diverse and vibrant team with an excellent culture.
