Job Summary
The National Fleet and Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet and asset management. It is also accountable for This role ensures the efficient utilization, maintenance, and record-keeping of all company vehicles and assets. This includes generators, trailers and various other assets. Additional, this role will support Nokia role in supporting our customer fleet of assets as required by the Field team. The Coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies and regulations.
The coordinator will work with state teams and stakeholders to management;
Reporting HS&E Onboarding new staff. Stock management and consumable replenishment Training, tool, accreditation and other register and tracking Customer mandatory training tracking Induction management with landlords and property owners Assistance with difficult site access for the Field team Coordination of ad-hoc projects General tasks and coordination as required by the Nation Field Service Manager.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, asset management, or a related role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet Management
Coordinate and manage the company's fleet, including acquisition, registration, servicing, maintenance, and disposal. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and operational. Monitor vehicle usage and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities. Toll and E-tag management Fuel Card Management
2. Asset Management
Maintain a detailed inventory of all company assets, including vehicles, generators, equipment, and other physical resources. Ensure all assets are properly tagged, tracked, and documented in an asset management system. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify the condition and location of assets. Action audit findings with State Managers and their teams.
3. Compliance and Documentation
In consultation with Nokia HS&E ensure all vehicles, generators and assets comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including registration, insurance, inspection reports, and maintenance logs. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies as needed.
4. Operational Support
Assist with the development and implementation of fleet and asset management policies and procedures. Provide training and support to employees on the proper use and care of vehicles and equipment. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for vehicle leasing, maintenance, and repair services.
5. Cost Management
Invoice Reconciliation. Monitor and analyze fleet and asset-related expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and manage the fleet and asset budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Review and approve invoices related to fleet and asset expenditures.
6. Safety and Risk Management
Promote and enforce safety protocols and best practices for vehicle operation and asset usage. Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or damage involving company vehicles or assets. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential liabilities.
