Liebherr Australia is seeking a dedicated National HSE Systems and Injury Management Lead to join our team at Liebherr-Australia. The primary focus of this role is the development, management, and maintenance of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems, particularly our ISO45001 system. Additionally, the role involves managing Workers' Compensation claims and injury management processes, providing HSE advice and support across the business.
This role requires a proactive approach to managing HSE systems and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve effective injury management and HSE outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Maintain HSE Systems: Oversee the development, management, and maintenance of our certified Health, Safety, and Environment management system.
Audit and Performance Reviews: Manage internal and external audit programs and conduct due diligence reviews on HSE performance.
Workers' Compensation and Injury Management: Handle Workers' Compensation claims, maintain documentation, and support injury management strategies while liaising with insurers.
Training and Reporting: Develop and deliver HSE training programs, analyse HSE statistics, and generate reports.
Technology Implementation: Implement new technology to enhance the reporting, analysis, and rectification of HSE hazards and incidents.
Skills
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, particularly in hazard and risk management trend analysis. You should be proficient in using reporting and analysis tools, especially Power BI and Evotix. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to manage projects for the implementation of new programs. Additionally, you should be well-versed in HSE software solutions and have strong report writing capabilities
Qualifications
Graduate Diploma of Workplace Health Safety (preferred)
Rehabilitation & Return to Work Certificate.
Lead Auditor for Health, Safety, and Environment.
Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
