Downer Rail & Transit Systems business has a wide portfolio of projects currently in delivery nationally.  RTS leverages the in-house capabilities within Downer to offer integrated solutions covering rollingstock, infrastructure, rail systems, operations and maintenance, as well as system integration.

Downer provides asset management services to over 50% of the Sydney Suburban Rollingstock. We are seeking to engage an experienced National Logistics Manager who will lead the warehouse stores teams at all RTS Sites for safe and efficient warehouse operations, logistics and inventory management – receiving, receipting, putaway, picking and dispatching. 

The position also requires strong Safety leadership, guidance and governance, that drives a Safety Culture in the Supply Chain team. 

About you:

Minimum 10 years’ experience & proven success in Warehouse & Logistics Management Proven experience in a fast paced, customer focussed warehouse environment. Lead the effective management of resources to maintain a high degree of accuracy in a busy and changing environment. A strong exponent of change management principles with ability to drive process change and resource alignment to meet business needs. Makes critical and timely decisions in difficult or ambiguous situations. Demonstrate integrity and responsibility through honest, respectful and transparent communication
