About the Role:

● The incumbent is responsible for leading and managing the company's sales and distribution strategy within the modern trade channel.

● The incumbent will report to the Assistant Vice President - PSD. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

● Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share objectives within the modern trade channel.

● Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores.

● Distribution Network: Oversee the distribution network, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to retail outlets.

● Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and consumer trends.

● Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring their performance and development.

● Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual sales budget and forecast.

● Trade Marketing: Plan and execute effective trade marketing activities, including promotions, displays, and merchandising.

● Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement a pricing strategy that maximizes profitability while remaining competitive.

● Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

● Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

● 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG or retail industry.

● Strong understanding of the modern trade channel and key accounts.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
