GEICO is seeking TWO highly motivated and analytical individuals to join our National Print Mail Center (NPMC) team. This role supports the NPMC operation by working with various groups throughout the company to review, test and validate document changes, in support of NPMC’s strategic efforts.
The responsibilities of this position include:
• Support of all systems’ related matters for the NPMC, such as upgrades, planned and unplanned outages, installs, general maintenance, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Testing and validating physical mail for alternative methods of communication to improve the customer experience.
• Analysis of all GEICO mailed documents and business updates impacting NPMC.
• Presenting results to a variety of business and technical areas at all levels of management.
• Creating and implementing new practices and applications to best support NPMCs business
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of data servers and network connections
• Proven attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills
• Insurance business acumen to best support business changes impacting NPMC practices.
• Experience in writing business requirements & test plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include word, excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.
• Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information and follow processes that have been published.
• Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers, and other employees of the organization.
• May be required to be on call for production support.
• Must be able to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly.
This position is an in-office position.
Essential Functions:
1. TAKES full ownership of the inventories necessary for operations of the National Print Mail Center (NPMC).
2. PERFORMS reconciliation of outbound mail
3. COMPLETES tasks related to NPMC strategic plans
4. PROVIDES necessary updates to stakeholders on progress
5. HANDLES projects of moderate complexity, to include print/test/insertion testing. POSSESSES the working knowledge to identify mail driven by each line of business.
6. HANDLES and COORDINATES all special mailing projects, to include manufacturing, testing, validation, and running jobs.
7. POSSESSES the ability to manufacture forms and updates.
8. PERFORMS cost and volume analysis.
9. PERFORMS duties of NPMC Technical Support as needed.
10. ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
11. MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.
12. MEETS the requirements specified below.
