Our National Procurement Manager will effectively act as subject matter expert for assigned product categories and conduct K. Hovnanian’s procurement processes to include international and domestic sourcing solicitation and pre-qualification, bidding, negotiation and award.  Routinely monitor and provide vendor performance feedback, contract and performance dispute resolution, and overall vendor management.  The National Procurement Manager will engage and work with sourcing teams to select the best and most cost-effective solution, whether it be through national vendors, traditional supply chain, domestic sourcing partners, or development and import of international product.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar discipline and 5 or more years of experience in the development and implementation of sourcing strategy in purchasing procurement activities within the construction industry.  Comprehensive understanding of raw material and the relationship to finished goods prices. Demonstrable success in reduce cost and ensure supply while reducing risk.
