Key Responsibilities:
Program Management and Evaluation
Coordinate and consult with Provincial Project Coordinator to ensure smooth running of CNSP project activities at the project site.Follow up and organize to ensures partners meetings with DfCDR at provincial l and with District LLG level are ongoing and updated for project activities awareness and implementation.Provide expertise where intervention, planning and implementation is required through training and workshops.Coordinate & mobilize the resources and requirements of the project activitiesQuality Assurance
Monitor and document project implementation and make recommendations as appropriate to M & E officer r and Project Manager.Design standard/protocols for training interventionsDevelop training materials to suite the need, local context and language.Assess and provide support to the DfCDR, Community development Workers and local leaders through regular on-site supervisory and advisory visits to enhance partners and community’s competence.Representation & Networking
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners (DfCDR, PHAs, Comm Dev workers, VHAs, banking institution), local organizations and community groupsPromote open discussions with community leaders to evaluate.Safe Guarding & Child Protect
Serve as the focal point for child safeguarding under CNSP Project, in accordance with the national strategies developedEnsure all programming follows WVs’ Code of Conduct and Child Protection/Adult Safeguarding policy.Promote the protection rights of the vulnerable children by identifying key protection threats affecting the children and mothers participating in all the CNSP project activities and develop mitigation measures on a regular basis to ensure the safety and security of the chosen locationsComply fully and ensure compliance with WV’s Child Protection Policy and code of conductEnsure partners, project beneficiaries comply to safeguarding policy, and project participants been sensitized so mutual understanding and respect is maintained. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEMinimum of Bachelor's degree or college qualification in health management, project management, social work profession or public healthAt least 2-3 years of experience in implementing projects engaging various stakeholders/partners.Experience in partners engagement and networkingExperience in working with Provincial and District and Local Level Government OfficesExperience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writingExperience in Community mobilization and leadership roleExperience in Project managementGood working experience in child protection systems strengthening, child protection advocacy and familiarity with core principles of children rights, child protection, participation, Do No Harm, as well as CP minimum standards, Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct is an advantage.Certificate in community development backgroundExperience in community development as a backgroundGood interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivityBasic understanding of project management cycle principlesEffective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English.Good networking and partnership development skillsSound knowledge in PNG Government systems and programsComputer literateA competitive salary, benefits, and career development opportunity will be offered commensurate with relevant experience, knowledge, and qualifications.
