**The role**
The Rental Sales Role responsible for driving sales by actively engaging with prospects for a solution-based offering while promoting HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) products and services to prospective customers. This role combines knowledge of HVAC systems with a strong sales focus to promote and market HVAC rental services, offering temporary cooling or heating solutions for various applications such as events, construction sites, industrial processes, emergency situations, or any other scenario where temporary climate control is needed. This is crucial role in meeting regional sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
**Key responsibilities**
We are looking for a customer-focused service technician with the ability to provide an excellent experience to our clients in the field. Therefore, you will have;
+ Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers.
+ Advise and guide on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.
+ Present technical information and conduct product demonstrations effectively to potential customers.
+ Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities.
+ Prepare competitive quotations and proposals to secure new deals.
+ Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives in the rental market.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
+ Collaborate to develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets for region.
+ Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.
+ Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions.
+ Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.
**Requirements:**
As a minimum you must have:
+ Extensive experience in the Rental HVAC field.
+ Financial management for Quoting and estimation experience.
+ Project management skills.
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines and budgets.
+ Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with internal and external customers effectively.
+ Ability to cross-sell and upsell within your base of customers, demonstrating excellent sales and negotiation skills.
+ Proven ability to identify opportunities for proactive selling of preventative repair/upgrade packages.
+ Proficiency in utilising Microsoft-based computer software in a technical environment.
+ Comfortable working in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
+ Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
+ Strong goal orientation with exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
