ResponsibilitiesThe Retail National Account Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop, manage and support sales activities for retail products at various Home Improvement retailers as well as Co-Op / Hardware channels. This position’s key objective is to improve and grow our market share by analyzing the business, evaluating sales trends and creating high impact sales presentations to the customer. You will be the key liaison between the customer and IDEAL Industries and be recognized as the category expert. Working with the Director of sales you will also develop strategies and tactics to maximize sales potential and take share.

Fostering and developing customer relationshipsCollaboration with product managers and operations to drive the business and meet market demandsTake action to deliver on performance objectives and sales targetsDevelop, evaluate and recommend new products, promotions, advertising and marketing programs to retail customersProficiency in evaluating retail financial KPIs (Sales, Margin, Inventory Turns)Develop and present to internal and external customers utilizing power pointProficient at planning, prioritizing and organizingExperienced at visual merchandising and Planogram creationSkilled at negotiating QualificationsBachelor’s degree required5+ years of retail sales analytical experienceExperience working with Home Centers and Hardware Channel.Ability to analyze sales data and determine appropriate actions to improve account positionFamiliarity with the electrical trades is a plusWorking knowledge of retail supply chain and inventory managementProven ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work effectively from home office settingProficient in Microsoft office suiteAbility to travel (25%) periodically when required to support the needs of the business
