Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.
Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
**About the role**
Are you a VP/Snr National Sales Director with experience in Drug or Health channels, that can lead a transformative sales strategy for the Drug Channel at Reckitt but also nurture the growth of our sales team and build strong connections across the market? If so, we want to hear from you. This exciting NSD role reports to the Chief Customer Officer for North America and is responsible for our leading customer base; CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid, as well as responsibility for managed markets customers. This is an end-to-end position, managing our customers, preparing the annual planning of each customer, growing our market share and shaping the future of our sales organisation. This is a very important channel for Reckitt as we continue to expand our portfolio and transform our business. In this role, you'll have the platform to make a tangible difference, driving our mission forward with your leadership and creativity in sales. If influencing in-market execution, shaping sales strategy, and leading a team to surpass targets excites you, then we want to see your spark ignite our sales organisation.
Please note the position is based out of our offices in Parsippany, New Jersey, and our hybrid working model has a 3 day per week office policy.
**Your responsibilities**
- Craft and drive the sales strategy to exceed revenue goals and expand market share.
- Lead and develop a team of sales professionals, creating a culture of success and professional growth.
- Analyse market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer trends to adapt and innovate strategies.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure sales plans are aligned with wider business objectives.
- Evaluate sales performance data to continually refine tactics and drive results.
- Build enduring relationships with key clients, nurturing partnerships that drive progress.
**The experience we're looking for**
- A VP/Snr Director level NSD with a track record of hitting targets and growing businesses, as well as facing off to senior leadership teams.
- Inspiring leadership presence, capable of mentoring a vibrant sales team.
- Sharp analytical skills, with experience in utilising data to inform decision-making.
- Strong negotiator with exceptional communication and presentation talent.
- Deep understanding of the fast-moving consumer goods sector and its market dynamics.
- Comfort working in an environment that's as dynamic as it is rewarding, where adaptability is key.
