The role:
This is a critically important role and core team member of UK, Ireland and Nordic Healthcare Systems and Technologies. Ultimately managing the tactical and operational daily activities of the Safe Patient Handling sales team and driving the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the attainment of focused objectives and targets. This team comprises of direct sales managers and distributor managers.
Under the guidance of the Head of Sales, the role holder will be responsible for managing our Safe patient handling sales team to achieve sustainable sales growth with existing customers and generate new business in line with agreed business and personal objectives. This Manager leads the team and ensures the right support in the sales process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual sales plans, goals and objectives for the sales teamProvide leadership, guidance and motivation to the sales team, to achieve sales targetsHire, train, manage and retain top talent to ensure team successAnalyse sales data, market trends and customer need to identify opportunities for growthLead and manage the account planning process for individual Account Managers aligned to the strategic marketing planDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure ongoing business and identify new opportunitiesCollaborate with marketing, tech services, therapy partners, finance etc. to align sales strategies with company objectivesConduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs and provide coaching & feedback to the sales teamMonitor sales activity and pipeline, forecast sales revenue and report regularly on sales performance to senior managementDevelop and negotiate contracts/agreements with clientsStay up to date on industry tremds and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edgeAct as change agent through the organization to instil agility and ability to re-invent the way we operate internally and externally.Qualifications:
At least 5 years as a leader in Medtech industry, whereof minimum 2 years in sales mgmt.Strong communication and change management skills, based on transparent and inclusive values.Track record of leading transformation and growthAbility to deal with ambiguity and flexibility to quickly adapt to change. Passionate about building new business opportunities.Strong planning skills with a structured work pattern.Result driven, accountable and a growth mindset.Resilience and positivity; responds well to setbacks and shows leadership by proactively encouraging and motivating peers.A high interest in leadership development, high self-awareness and seeks to improve.Team focused; values various skills, styles and contributions of others and actively asks for feedback.Strong analytical skills with experience in commercial excellence, tender/contract management, pricing strategy.
