As a National Sales Manager you will LEAD by………. + Driving revenue growth, building, and nurturing client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the semiconductor sector in Temperature Sensing for Thermocouples and Optical products. + Collaborating with the Global Sales Manager and design engineering team to differentiate technical support for diverse applications in the semiconductor industry. + Expanding sales and achieving revenue goals by developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions or markets. + Identifying growth opportunities and establish competitive market positioning. + Calling on and building relationships with engineers, buyers, and key decision-making authorities and/or influencers. + Serving as customers' primary point of contact, addressing their needs, and offering tailored solutions. + Understanding customer strategies, organization, projects, insights, and market dynamics. + Developing new sales leads and present products, services, and solutions to technical and non-technical groups. + Evaluating and implementing effective sales techniques to achieve revenue targets. + Providing diligent and timely customer support throughout the qualification and purchase cycles. + Maintaining strong awareness and knowledge of competition and competitive situations at customer sites. + Working closely with Global Sales Manager, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to achieve goals. + Having willingness to travel as needed and work with the engineering team and customers in different time zones. + Interfacing with customer service to provide proper pricing guidance and overall customer assistance as required. + Interfacing with production personnel to review customer requirements and aiding in determining priority orders when capacity constraints exist. Your elements for success…… + Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred but not required. + 5+ years' experience in a technical corporate environment, preferably as a Technical Sales, Application Engineer, or Technician in the temperature sensing sector or Semiconductor industry, is preferred. + Background in control theory, optical pyrometers, and thermocouple technology is a plus. + Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. + Ability to penetrate large organizations and manage complex projects. + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills + Location preference for this remote role is Northeast or Central US. + Role includes company car. + Travel expectation could be up to 30-50%. _You @ BASF ECMS_ At BASF ECMS you get more than just compensation, Medical & Dental. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $90,000- $125,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
