We're looking for a self-motivated, results driven people manager to join our Sports Medicine sales team in The Netherlands. You will be working with them to ensure that a robust sales strategy is developed and is implemented locally, ensuring product availability meets our customers needs and the needs of our patients!
What will you be doing?
It all starts with growth, working with our sales teams' driving excellence and a winning mentality. When you remove their limits, they can remove the limits from their customers and patients.
Developing a strong culture of high performance, pushing the team to succeed through coaching and mentorship. This is just as much about enabling and empowering those in the team as it is about people management. It's working in tandem with them to deliver the strategy for the business.
As our sales teams in the cluster are evolving and experiencing change we need someone with the leadership experience and emotional intelligence to help deliver that change. Ultimately, we're looking for someone to take ownership of the sales team, the strategy and build strong positive relationships that will lead to future success.
What does success look like?
Success in the role will be determined by revenue, growth and margin. We want to win new business, and we want our teams to succeed and deliver value for Smith+Nephew, and ultimately our customers. Success for in this role will depend on the success of the team, remove barriers for them, give them confidence and empower them to own what they do day in day out.
Successful candidates would need the following:
Strong experience managing and developing high performing sales teams who can win, grow and maintain businessA believer and advocate of Talent Development, spotting potential early and nurturing it to deliver successExperience in a sales environment that's linked directly with healthcare professionalsValid Driving LicenseTravel requirements: ~ 75%
