National Sea Logistics LCL Manager
You will be part of our Sea Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence. Your Role You will be engaging different stakeholders to drive the success of your product on a daily basis. \r\n\r\nIn the morning, check where you stand today. Review customer requests in your inbox, dedicating time to provide the best answers. \r\n\r\nMake room for internal customers, pay a visit to the CCL to chat with sales + customer care colleagues about the opportunities they are working on: they might need your advice or help to close business, or to engage you on a sales call for tomorrow! Keep your agenda flexible and prioritize sales calls. Once in front of the customer, ask the right questions + more importantly: listen.\r\nLater in the day, design the correct pricing or agreed solution. Be part of regular sales meetings. Review pipeline \r\nopportunities, providing immediate solutions to close business.\r\nDelivering operational excellence is an important pillar. Assist the OCC team with urgent escalations as needed + that should complete your journey... for today. Your Responsibilities

Your primary objective is to develop, implement and drive the local product + business development strategy for
our less than full container load product (LCL).

You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key
objectives.

- To drive sales + key account managers in developing LCL opportunities, regularly joining sales calls.

- To work with the customer care + operational care teams (CCL + OCC) ensure the dedication + expertise to meet customer demands is deployed.

- To ensure the profitability of the product, proactively following up on discrepancies.

- To upload + maintain LCL selling rates (MSR) to our designated system (KN Rates) to support our pricing department with quotations, in particular with tailor-made selling rates for important opportunities.

- To negotiate trucking + container freight station (CFS) rates according to optimize the yield of the product, with the best service provider available according to our standards.

- To provide regular LCL product training to all colleagues engaged in activities relating to your portfolio.

- To develop tailor-made solutions for customers based on the product portfolio.

- To maintain relationships with co-loaders.

- To optimize yields by managing cargo flows via the best transportation options.


Your Skills and Experiences

- Graduate of Bachelor's degree of any related course.

- Possesses strong leadership skills + focus on customer + stakeholder relationships
