The main purpose Level 3 technician is to support the engineering team in repairing and maintaining engineering fleet vehicles including prototypes and preproduction vehicles, apply engineering solutions as directed by the engineering team
The successful applicant must be based in the US in the LA County or Orange County area
As a Level 3 Technician, you will be expected to succeed at the following tasks:
Candidate Responsibilities:
Complete advanced maintenance and repair from bumper to bumper, vehicle diagnosis and repairs
Maintain tech data entry of three (3) C’s (Complaint, Cause, Correction) into the HMA Dealer Management System (“DMS”) for tech data entry portion of technician job responsibilities,
Manage the respective work stall area to ensure it is clean, organized, and in proper working order,
Assist in preparation of vehicles for Marketing & Media events, development,
Communicate/share repair solutions to Quality Engineering & Tech line Assistance Centre,
Order parts for vehicles that are assigned to technician for repairs,
Ensure vehicles are adequately protected and in compliance with all safety procedures while they are being serviced,
Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Client and/or MSXI Manager.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician in an automotive service department,
Hyundai/Genesis experience preferred,
Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) dealership service department work experience is highly preferred,
ASE Certification and/or State Certification is preferred,
Alternative Fuels repair experience a preferred, but not required (Ex: FC, HEV, PHEV, and EV)
Working experience with automotive dealership operations processes or similar business is preferred,
High level of proficiency with the use of computer based technical service tools, related software programs, and DMS systems is highly preferred,
Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook is required,
Full professional proficiency in English is required,
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

At MSXI, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $32.00 to $37.00 hourly based on current experience.
