Job Summary:
The BDO National Tax Office (NTO) Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group provides technical leadership and support to firm client service professionals and alliance firms on transactional matters including structuring M&A transactions, interpretations of various laws affecting C corporations, consolidated return groups, S corporations, financial instruments and more. The National Tax Managing Director – M&A (Managing Director) applies knowledge and experience to assist clients with tax planning including Section 382 studies, E&P studies, basis studies, Section 163(j) calculations and more. This individual will also need to be willing to participate in firm training. The Managing Director will collaborate amongst NTO professionals and with tax leadership to drive operational efficiencies.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree, required J. D., LLM, and/or MST/MBT, preferredExperience:
Nine (9) or more years of professional experience, preferred Seven (7) or more years of M&A tax experience, preferredLicense/Certifications:
CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) or the equivalent of one of these designations), preferredSoftware:
