Equitable is looking for a motivated and passionate National Vice President of Consultant Relations to join our Group Retirement team. This individual will be responsible for defining and executing consultant/TPA strategy on behalf of Equitable Group Retirement. This is a National position, with flexibility for remote work. Frequent travel (up to 60%) is required for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration. **Key Job Responsibilities** + Help drive the sale and retention of retirement clients across all of Equitable’s Group Retirement businesses (Government Market, Small/Mid Corporate Market, Tax Exempt Market ) + Primarily responsible for establishing and nurturing key relationships with premier national and regional consultants to ensure Equitable is perceived as a premier provider of retirement solutions. + Ensure that a consistent unified One Equitable message is delivered to the consultant/TPA community + Develop and execute a proactive strategy that ensures optimal coverage of assigned consulting firms. Include appropriate Equitable partners in executing the strategy + Participate in broader strategic discussions related to business strategy; distribution strategy, competitive positioning, and development of sales and marketing materials + Assure that sales leads generated from consultants are properly assigned and coordinated within and among the Equitable sales team. Assist with direct sales as appropriate, including finals presentations + Coordinate consulting firm messaging with sales, relationship management, RFP and product professionals + Work with RFP and Sales team in enhancing RFP/RFI flow, advance rates and win rates with assigned intermediaries The base salary for this position is $120,000.
