A person in this position employs knowledge of scientific principles, analytical skills, and technical writing ability to prepare draft operating permit documents for major sources of air emissions subject to Title V of the Clean Air Act and Chapter 6, Section 3 of the Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations. This work includes reviewing engineering designs, calculations, and other permit application documents for details, accuracy, and completeness; examining the engineering basis for the periodic parameter or emission monitoring; developing the analysis, statement of basis, and draft operating permit; and participating in cross-functional projects within the Air Quality Division.
