Job Description Faststream are working with a major renewable energy company to add a Naval Architect to their team, specialising in the design, construction, and maintenance of marine vessels and structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, efficiency, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
Innovate and design marine vessels and structures, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Use advanced simulation software for structural and hydrodynamic analysis. Lead project phases, coordinating with internal teams and external clients to meet deadlines. Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations and safety standards. Produce comprehensive technical documentation and reports for stakeholders. Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Expertise in naval architecture, structural engineering, and hydrodynamics. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS, STAAD, and Orcaflex. Strong problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must have right to work in the UK.
