The RN Navigator’s primary function is to provide direct care to chemotherapy and infusion patients in the outpatient setting. The RN has knowledge of oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The RN Navigator applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings. The RN Navigator coordinates care for chemotherapy and infusion patients in collaboration with social work, financial counselors, chaplains, dietitians, providers, pharmacists, patients, and family members. Necessary RN skills include assessing, educating, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating treatment plans.

Shift details: This is a part-time, 0.8 FTE (32 working hours), day shift position. (8 am to 5 pm, Mondays- Fridays, rotating weekends, and occasional holidays)
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:
