Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN Navigator coordinates cancer patient care and acts as a patient advocate. This includes monitoring patients through screening/diagnostic evaluation, assisting them with navigation through healthcare systems, providing education and emotional care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being, and identification and support in the development of programs and services to enhance patient care and support. The RN Navigator also provides education for general surgery patients.

Required Qualifications: 

California Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire 3 years of Clinical nursing experience as Registered Nurse 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) upon hire 3 years of Outpatient experience in a healthcare setting  Oncology experience
