NBC & Telemundo Connecticut Internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television industry. Internships at NBC & Telemundo Connecticut are paid and do not require course credit.

NBC Connecticut & Telemundo Connecticut are looking for a team player to join our Sales team. As a Sales Marketing intern on this team, you will support the development multiplatform campaigns and strategies that drive advertising revenue for the stations.
QualificationsResponsibilities:
Assist with the creation and development of sales marketing materials including custom sales presentations, campaign performance recaps, and onesheets; strong PowerPoint skills requiredParticipate in brainstorming sessions with sales team to develop creative solutions for advertisersGenerate ideas for advertisers that could lead to new sources of revenue – stay on top of current events, market trends, emerging business categories and competitive efforts to identify innovative revenue streamsSupport in the coordination of commercial and lifestyle show production; may include gathering assets from sales reps and attending shoots to support the sales/marketing team to get products on-air in a timely fashionHelp with the execution and build of social media contesting and promotion: writing and confirming rules & regulations with legal, crafting copy and imagery for use on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, submitting production requests for creative, reconciling winners, and recapping campaign successHelp coordinate marketing, event and community activities by tracking event dates, identifying resources necessary for events (marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, news coverage, volunteers), distributing tickets, ordering supplies and assisting in on-site execution as neededProvide various administrative support on daily tasks.Program Dates: Summer 2025Time commitment is 200 hours per semesterTo Apply:

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or abovePursuing a major in Marketing, Advertising, or CommunicationsExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and creative skillsExceptional project management, organizational and presentation skillsFamiliarity with and experience using multiple social platformsInterest in the television, streaming or digital entertainment industriesProficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft TeamsGraphic design experience with understanding of PhotoshopBilingual skills – Spanish/English – preferred, but not necessary
