Nucor Buildings Group is seeking a Product Owner to shape our product vision, oversee the product backlog, and guarantee the delivery of top-notch features for our metal building quoting software. Basic Job Functions: Product Vision: Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for our website utilized for quoting and selling metal buildings (Used internally and externally). Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog. Write user stories and acceptance criteria by proactively gathering information from stakeholders. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team. Lead stakeholder meetings to review the roadmap and gather feedback. Collaborate with Other Technical Teams: Engage and work closely with other technical teams at Nucor to ensure the prioritization and success of cross-team project. Lead SCRUM Process: Lead all SCRUM meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. #LI-KB1 [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as Product Owner or Project Manager Experience working with the software development lifecycle Experience working within agile development principles. Ability to work onsite in Northeast Indiana. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org). Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification Demonstrate strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
