NCCER Structural Welding Morning Class - Starting Aug 25, 2025
Overview COURSE DESCRIPTION: Welding Safety (29101): Covers safety equipment, protective clothing, and procedures applicable to the cutting and welding of metals. Reading Welding Detail Drawings (29202): Identifies and explains welding detail drawings. Describes lines, fills, object views, and dimensioning on drawings. Explains how to use notes on drawings and the bills of materials. SMAW Electrodes (29108): Describes the SMAW electrode classification system and how to select the proper electrode for the task. Explains how to select electrodes and describe their proper care, handling, and storage. NCCER Structural Welding, Morning Class 14 Week Class: August 25 - November 25, 2025 8AM - 12PM Monday - Thursday Class will be held at: Maritime Training Center 360 Addsco Road Mobile, Alabama Requirements Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be eligible to work in the US.
