Clover Leaf Solutions is looking for an NDA Analyst to support operations at the SLDA site in Parks Township, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will perform expert data analysis of assay data from gamma-based non-destructive assay (NDA) systems, with a focus on high-purity germanium (HPGe) systems. The NDA Analyst will play a critical role in making technically sound decisions in support of customer objectives and providing subject matter expertise in NDA methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial calibration, qualification, and certification of NDA instruments. Analyze and interpret data with precision, providing expert consultation to facility departments such as nuclear safety, nuclear materials accountability, waste characterization, and disposal. Support client regulatory audits with technical defense and documentation. Develop radiation detection and measurement models using MCNP or similar software. Interface with software systems to implement and debug algorithms and data acquisition. Write and review technical documents, including system technical basis and measurement test plans. Apply advanced mathematical methods to analyze and resolve complex physical problems. Mentor other team members and contribute to skill development across job categories. Stay updated on current and emerging NDA technologies relevant to job activities.Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree in physical science or engineering and five years of experience in non-destructive assay (NDA), or ten years of equivalent experience in the field. Expertise in a range of NDA techniques, including knowledge in physics, chemistry, statistics, electronics, engineering, and nuclear safety. Proficiency in technical problem-solving and experience with data acquisition and analysis software such as Maestro, GammaVision, ISOCS, SNAP, ISOTOPIC, or PC FRAM. Familiarity with ASTM C-1490-04 standards for NDA personnel qualifications. High-level proficiency in MS Office and programming/scripting languages.
