Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a NDI Robotics Programmer to join our growing team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Robotics Programmer/Operator performs a variety of duties and utilizes multiple skillsets. Machine operators are required to follow detailed drawings and instructions. Sets up, operates, and maintains numerous machines and standard shop tools. This position requires the mentorship and training of other technicians.
The following essential job functions are performed as a Robotics Programmer/Operator:
Programs and operates numerous machines. Carries out process improvement on current policies and procedures in addition to training others. Reads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings and work orders. Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors and production leads. Must be able to understand and comply with safety practices. Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function. Set up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction. Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free condition. Knowledge and use of common hand tools. Accurate use of precision measuring instruments (i.e.: micrometers, calipers, etc.) and working to exacting tolerances. Must understand and comply with Safety and 5S. Must understand and comply with AS9100 and Nadcap Practices and Procedures as applicable. Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.· Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
· Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· A two-year technical certificate or bachelor’s degree in a directly related field may be substituted for experience. Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
· Experience using NX and CAD models strongly preferred.
· Prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair is preferred.
· Must have the ability to read, understand and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
· Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
· Must be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearance.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED
General hand and power tools.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to sit, stand, or crouch down for extended periods. Exposed to noise, dust, dirt, and paint fumes. Personal protective equipment (PPE), safety glasses and respirator will be required.

Wage range for this role is between $20 and $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role.
