What does the role look like?

We are seeking a skilled and certified NDT Level 2 professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through advanced non-destructive testing methods. You will work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic aerospace environment, supporting our mission to redefine the future of aerospace.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

Setting up and standardising equipment to conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on components.Interpreting and evaluating results for acceptance or rejection and documenting findings.Providing guidance and support to trainees and Level 1 personnel.Developing work instructions from approved procedures and ensuring compliance with standards.Performing system performance checks and organising test results.Ensuring adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

What will you bring to the role?

Essential skills:

Certification to NDT Level 2 in Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Nital Etch Inspection.Thorough understanding of NDT methods, standards, and inspection techniques.Strong organisational and reporting skills.Ability to distinguish and differentiate colours used in NDT methods.Visual acuity meeting Jaeger Number 1 standard and Tumbling E vision test requirements.

Desirable skills:  

Familiarity with aerospace product manufacturing and inspection technologies.Experience creating NDT work instructions and techniques.Strong problem-solving and team collaboration abilities.
