Title:    NDT Inspector 
Reporting to (Title):    Manager Operations 

Role Purpose Statement: 

Responsibilities for quality inspection equipment, products, & safety inspections to determine their conformity with reference standards, specifications, & regulations. Role Statement The job incumbent is responsible for NDT Inspector, He performs the job in the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics and the BV Group policies.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Plan the job with the operations manager after the award of the PO.  Complete the job as per scope of work. Perform NDTs (A-scanning, UFD, UTG, MPI, DPT) independently.  Trouble shooting at site related to NDT. Verify the NDT equipment is working properly. Ensure that report is submitted as per the deadline given by the client. Review of NDT reports Evaluation of NDT results as per relevant code.  Report preparation according to API and client requirements.  Coordinate with clients before and after starting execution.  Comply with HSE requirements of BV and site for self and team.  Daily progress as per client requirement.  Should possess marketing skills.

 

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HNC. Experience: 8 years in the same field. Professional Qualification: NDT Level II (UT, RT, MT, and DPT).

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Good organizer and record-keeping. Discipline and strong interpersonal relationships. Basic use of computers and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent English and local language skills are desirable.
