Wood is recruiting an NDT Inspector to join our Sheet Metal Fabrication team based in Bedford. Wood Sheet Metal is part of your Systems Integration team within our Digital Consulting business supporting across our UK projects. 

This position is a full-time role based at the workshop in Bedford Monday – Friday. 

Please note applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role 

The NDT Inspector will oversee the quality and safety of all welding activities on site. With previous inspections experience, the NDT Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all inspections are completed before, during and after any welding operations to the highest standards along with conducting any NDT inspection when applicable. 

This position will require someone with a keen eye for detail, with proven capabilities to read and understand drawings. The NDT Inspector will pose a high of accuracy in all reporting and ensure the team are meeting client specifications and deadlines.
