Job Title: NDT Inspector.

Reporting Title:   NDT Manager, North Zone (IVS/Industrial Inspections).
Business Unit:    In-Service and projects testing/verification and inspection.
Function:    Inspection/Testing/Verification. 
Location:    Islamabad, Pakistan.

                
Role Purpose Statement: 

Responsibilities for quality inspection equipment, products, & safety inspections to determine their conformity with reference standards, specifications, & regulations. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV code of ethics and the BV Group policy.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This responsibility covers:

Conducting and supervising the teams in terms of performing quality jobs, especially in the fields of Welding, NDT, tubular inspection, etc., trainings, and leading teams as a team leader for Excellent technical, organizational and time management Skills Have a strong hand on UT with certification and concepts of ToFD, PAUT, IRIS, and LRUT and learn to the next level. Have good working and leadership abilities and skills. Have flawless reporting. Able to understand industry national/international inspection codes, standards, & practices. Able to get more certifications. Having the ability to train the team under his supervision. Ability to deliver the lectures in the conduct of training courses. 

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs):

Perform & deliver as per commitment and client expectations. Utilization of skills and training of staff under supervision. Leading the teams on site and coordinating with clients on site. Fullfilling all the essential requirements of projects. Error-free reporting and report reviews. Enhancement of qualification/certification. Unbiased decisions. No breach of BV QHSSE policies. Ensure the safe and secure working all the time. Keep the knowledge updated as per applicable standards being applied.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, & colleagues. Able to prepare the calibration blocks and other technical requirements. Management of work under pressure with tight schedules and willingness for teamwork. Sign the inspection reports. Able to supervise, monitor, and train junior staff.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma/Bachlor's Degree Holder. 2-5 years on-hand experience in the same capacity.  Excellent technical, organizational and time management Skills Should have good working and leadership abilities and skills. Should have reporting skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Familiar with industry inspection codes, standards, & practices.  Learn and teach among the colleagues. Customer satisfaction feedback.
