KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take radiographic images of castings.Develop film in the processor.Perform specific tests and calibrations and document the           results in accordance with specific procedures.Assure parts are properly processed to the applicable QEI.Record all work performed in Lot Control System.Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required for shipment purposes.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that is in harmony with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.  Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.Adheres to plant and department safety rules.Safely operates all equipment and tools.Identifies and reports safety problems.Wears dosimeter.Meets all production and quality standards.May provide training and work direction to trainees.Performs other tasks as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read, follow and interpret instructions on QEI’s.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to work independently.Pass annual eye exam.High School Graduate.Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.Computer and keyboarding skills required.Training is provided on the job.40 hours classroom training.Must pass written test.Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder). /*generated inline style */   All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /*generated inline style */ This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
