Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced NDT Level ll Inspectors, RT for projects located in the Newport News, VA area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $36/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. Job Scope:
Perform inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and structures
Conduct NDT, RT and UT inspections per industry standardsInterpret and evaluate test resultsPrepare inspection reports and documentationCollaborate with team members to ensure quality assuranceEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Requirements Experience in Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)Minimum of 4 years of documented continuous experience performing inspections in PT, MT, and VT OR RT and UT methods within the past 9 monthsCurrent certification as Level II in PT, MT, VT or UT and RT methods per ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2001 Edition or laterSuccessful completion of written general theory and procedure-specific examinationsProven ability to operate NDT equipment, record results, and analyze informationValid vision acuity exam results using Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches within the last yearFamiliarity with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry Company DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
