The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an NDT Quality Test Specialist (Experienced, Senior or Lead) to join the Phantom Works Quality team in Mesa, AZ.
This position will be working in a dynamic team supportive team within a shop floor environment using automated and traditional systems, evaluating collected data, making accept/reject decisions. Ideal candidates will have the ability to interpret blueprint requirements and have the capability of supporting and/or developing inspection procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in NAS410 standard, be an effective communicator, and be able to work across multiple diverse functions, including partnering with engineering teams.
This position requires a minimum of a ASNT Level II NDT certification in Ultrasonic (UT) with preference given to candidates holding a currently ASNT Level III UT certification.

Position Responsibilities:
Level 3:
Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.Develops procedures and processes. Performs tests or inspections and collects data. Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations. Provides feedback on adverse trends. Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products. Conducts certification preparation training.Level 4:
Guides the development or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques. Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents. Develops and implements processes and procedures for new or revised non-destructive testing methods. Audits, validates and approves systems and techniques of suppliers and processors. Develops certification training and examinations.Level 5:
Advises on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques. Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques. Develops innovative test processes and equipment. Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment. Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data. Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies. Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
