We are seeking an experienced NDT Rope Access State Carded Technician for a position in Longview, TX. The Rope Access Technician is responsible for carrying out standard rope access operations to perform maintenance, repairs, and other industrial work tasks on industrial petrol\/chemical equipment while on ropes. The technician must have the ability to perform work that is physically demanding, have good communication skills and the ability to assimilate a large amount of new information. Responsibilities may also include rescue operations, technical reports, and administrative tasks.\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nMust have valid drivers license\nMust have TWIC card\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent\nRope Access Certification (Sprat or Irata) required\nTexas Radiographer Combo \/ X-Ray (2T) State Card Required. Louisiana state card considered if trainer\nRadiographer Trainer Status Preferred\nNDT certifications \/ Digital Radiography training a plus\nAbility to pass a background check and drug test\nMust be considered local to the job. Per diem is not included\nDocumentation needed: certifications and resume\nRope access training for \"ground\" state card holder may be considered for the right candidate\n\n

Functional Requirements:\n
Perform duties associated with radiography (DR\/CR) of plant assets in accordance with referencing code. Ability to follow and draw isometric drawings.\n
