The Role:
Working closely with the contract Manager and as the NDT Supervisor / Leading Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating NDT operations, ensuring that all testing and inspection activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your role will include supervising a team of NDT technicians and inspectors, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, SRG Global Asset care, and client procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of core crews, ad hoc crews and shutdown crews. Recommend NDT requirements for Planned Maintenance tasks, shutdown and tank/vessel inspections. Initiate continuous improvement and the use of technology for NDT and plant inspection. Review schedule of various shutdown throughout the year and involve in planning and execution of NDT / plant inspection related activities. Perform and oversee a variety of NDT techniques, including but not limited to MT, PT, UT, and RT. Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with SRG Global Asset Care quality and safety procedures and client specifications. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.Qualifications and Experience:
ISO 9712 Level 2 Certification in MT, PT, UT & RT. Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leading hand role. Strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Current driver’s license Current Working at Heights & Confined Space training. Current High Risk Licence - WP. Strong computer systems skills and knowledge Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.The Benefits
